Scranton is a long way from State College, but you wouldn't know it on a fall Saturday. If you'd rather watch the Penn State game with other fans than alone on the couch, The Bar at the Patch on W Grove St is a neighborhood spot to do it.
Plan around kickoff
Penn State games are usually on Saturdays, and kickoff times change week to week. The Patch opens at 4 PM on Saturdays and is open until 2 AM, so afternoon and night kickoffs fit well. A noon kickoff starts before we open.
