Where to Watch the MLB Playoffs & World Series in Scranton

October baseball is different. Every pitch matters, games run late, and a tense ninth inning is better with a crowd. If you're in Scranton and want somewhere to watch the MLB Playoffs or the World Series, The Bar at the Patch on W Grove St is a neighborhood option with 27 TVs and sports on year-round.

Why watch postseason baseball at The Patch

  • 27 TVs around the bar, so you're not craning to see one screen
  • Wings, bar food and drinks to get you through extra innings
  • The Patch Patio — covered outdoor seating for mild October nights
  • A relaxed neighborhood crowd, not a chain sports bar

Know the late-game timing

Playoff and World Series games often start in the evening and can run long. Hours: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 5 PM–12 AM; Friday and Saturday 4 PM–2 AM; Sunday 12 PM–8 PM; closed Tuesday. We're closed on Tuesdays, so plan around that if a big game lands on a Tuesday. On Friday and Saturday we're open until 2 AM.

Combining baseball with football season

October overlaps with the NFL and college football. On a busy sports weekend different TVs may carry different games — another reason to call ahead if baseball is your priority. Football fans can read Where to Watch NFL Sunday Ticket in Scranton and our college football guide.
